Music capabilities of the Enterprise were criticised by a lot of people, though numerous games had been made which have music of great quality. In spite of the criticism master Gyányi made an excellent sound tracker program, the Music Box, which uses all the capacities of the Dave chip.

Most people must have heard about the MOD music pieces on the PC. These pieces were made using digital sound samples, so the file size could remain small despite the unique sounding. The capabilities of the Enterprise enabled MOD pieces to be played after simple modifications. These DTM format music pieces are early MOD files converted from PC, their size couldn't be larger than 64Kb.

Contrary to the Spectrum, we listen to music using Enterprise emulators. So, first we have to load the player program. A program futtatásával floppy lemezről próbálkozzunk (mivel csak innen működik). Playable music files are also available for the player, this bunch of 235 pieces will satiate hopefully everyone...

Using another great sound tracker program, ROCKDIGI, we can create MOD-like pieces which use digital sound samples. It's József Héder who composed professional music pieces for Rockdigi. A bunch of his pieces (and other conversions) can be downloaded. Rockdigi music pieces can be played using the attached MBT Player, or they can be loaded into Rockdigi and this way they can be modified or you can study the program functioning.

"Of course", 8 bit digital sound samples from PC or Amiga can be played. All the WAV files converted to this format can be played on the Enterprise! István's more up-to-date program, SNDPLAY can play sounds in a better quality. It's part of the Multyplay program pack.

Another possibility is to exploit the sounding capabilities of the DAVE chip. A great possibility for it, is playing music pieces made or converted by MUSIC BOX. The pieces can be played using Music Box Player.
